An Auto Mechanic is an experienced and broadly capable automotive service professional who manages a wide range of vehicle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and complex mechanical and electrical repairs with minimal supervision. They serve as the primary technical lead in the warehouse facility, overseeing the end-to-end troubleshooting, inspection, and servicing of vehicles while utilizing diagnostic scanners, wiring diagrams, and technical service manuals. They also contribute to fleet reliability, equipment maintenance standards, workshop safety, and operational efficiency as a key technical specialist within the logistics and warehouse operations team.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Graduate or Vocational Graduate in Automotive Technology or a related field.
- TESDA National Certificate (NC II) in Automotive Servicing is an advantage.
- At least 2 years- up of experience as an Auto Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
- Knowledgeable in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining gasoline and diesel vehicles.
- Familiar with engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical systems.
- Able to perform preventive maintenance, tune-ups, oil changes, brake servicing, and other routine vehicle maintenance.
- Skilled in using automotive diagnostic scanners and repair tools.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical control vehicle ( both cars & trucks )
What You’ll Do
- Diagnostic & Maintenance Execution: Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on company vehicles, equipment, and machinery to ensure peak operational reliability and performance.
- Repair & Breakdown Response: Diagnose mechanical issues, repair or replace defective components, and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
- Recordkeeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate, structured documentation of all repairs, scheduled maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment servicing histories.
- Tool & Asset Management: Ensure the proper use, safety, calibration, and routine care of workshop tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment.
- Safety & Compliance: Make sure that vehicles adhere strictly to workplace safety standards, environmental protocols, and company operational policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with operational and logistics departments to schedule routine servicing, manage repair timelines, and fulfill assigned maintenance duties seamlessly.
