We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical General Accountant General Accountant capable of managing a company’s accounting functions, with a primary focus on auditing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting-related responsibilities to support daily operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in general accounting, financial reporting, bookkeeping, or a related role.
- Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or food processing industries is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and Philippine tax regulations.
- Experienced in preparing financial statements, general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and accounting software ( SAP )
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, inventory accounting, and cost accounting is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Assist with internal audits and coordinate with external auditors when necessary.
- Review accounting transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze journal entries, general ledger accounts, and month-end closing activities.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables, and other financial records.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Assist in tax compliance and the preparation of government reportorial requirements.
- Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments regarding financial concerns and documentation.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
