We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director for Operations to lead the different departments in our client’s automotive/motorcycle business. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, executing business strategies, and delivering strong team performance to support the company growth and success.
What You’ll Do
- Ensures sales and service standards are achieved and executes the vision of the C-suite executives
- Demonstrated effectiveness working in a highly matrixed organization
- Develop and build leadership talent and capability within the team and direct reports
- Responsible for driving the execution of a portfolio of projects, delegating responsibility to core management, project support resources, and team members
- Develop and execute strategies and business plans aligned with operational priorities
- Ensures operational excellence through process optimization, performance metrics, and customer insights
- Resolve highly complex problems using advanced judgement and cross-functional influence to drive accountability
- Represent the division in negotiations and interactions with internal and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced in managing medium to large-scale operations (500-1000 FTEs)
- Demonstrated understanding of managing sales, sales operations, and business development metrics, service levels, timelines, and deliverables.
- At least 5 years in leading managers or multi-functional teams
- Broad knowledge of Motorcycle, Automotive, or FMCG operations
- Strong business acumen and ability to drive financial and operational results
- Excellent Interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Strong verbal and communication skills
